Raffinée Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas specializing in adolescents, anxiety, and depression. She is a Chicago native who was raised in Texas, proudly bearing a mix of southern and Midwest roots.  

Raffinée is the Owner of Being Refined Counseling, a virtual therapy practice supporting clients throughout the state of Texas with navigating life’s stressors.  Having experience in various clinical settings, Raffinée has assisted hundreds of clients in decreasing symptoms of anxiety and depression and increasing the use of healthy coping skills. She recognizes the emotional experience is often met with judgment or even dismissed due to lack of understanding. Raffinée is most passionate about equipping teens and young adults to understand self while learning to have a healthy appreciation for their emotional experiences. She firmly stands on the belief that “Emotions are real, serve a purpose, and are a means of communication that each individual can listen to and draw data.”

Raffinée has spoken to audiences - parents and caregivers, influential youth leaders and volunteers, corporate executives and teams, and educators - throughout the United States. Her high energy, use of practical examples and humor allows her to quickly connect and empower attendees to implement their learned skills immediately.  

Raffinée currently resides in the Dallas area and in her free time enjoys reading, singing, cooking, and spending time with her "Littles" as she affectionately calls her nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
